Hilton Honors, Hilton Hotels' rewards program, allows members access to some of the best perks and privileges in the hospitality industry—especially with Hilton Honors Experiences. Through Experiences, members can cash in their accrued points on everything from spa stays to African photo safaris. When Hilton asked my team to reimagine the Experiences web site, we knew it would require lots of iteration. The biggest problem Experiences faced was usability. So, through multiple rounds of prototyping and user testing, we rethought the site from the ground up, combining the best of auction and e-commerce experiences—while also showcasing the amazing adventures members could have around the globe. Leading with an intuitive and in-depth search menu, particularly on mobile, users can dive in right away and find what interests them. This, combined with a clean layout and bold photography, provided Hilton a platform that truly lived up to their world-class brand.
