For 40 years, Republic has helped shape Washington, D.C.'s skyline and neighborhoods, developing iconic landmarks such as Market Square, Georgetown Park, and Washington Harbor. When Republic asked us to refresh their brand and web experience, we knew we needed to create something modern and fresh, but that called back to their history and legacy. Using Republic's existing toolkit as a starting point, we infused energy and excitement into the their color palette and photography, but used classic typography as a nod to tradition. And when developing their online experience, we used subtle motion and movement to bring their portfolio to life.
